Damn I miss Dallas… Every day I ask myself where the hell have I come?????

You Know Your Old When

Before recently switching to a smartphone, I had a flip phone. I was driving somewhere and my brother was in the car. I always text and drive, but I was in the mood to be a law abiding and safe citizen, so I told him to send the text for me. (Actually texting and driving is not illegal in Texas). I dictated what I wanted texted and after confusedly staring at the phone for two minutes, he gave the phone back and said “I don’t know how to send a text on this. There’s no keyboard….”

I don’t know about other readers, but I used to kill it on T9. I can send any text anytime without looking. Can’t do that with the iPhone….
